Our Mission, Vision, and Values
Vision Statement:
To be the company that businesses hire when they desire reliable, high quality, professional janitorial services.
Mission Statement:
To create clean, peaceful work environments for our clients and to build long-term relationships with our clients by understanding their needs and providing for those needs with the highest level of integrity and professionalism in the industry.
Core Values:
1. Integrity
“We do what is right even when no one is watching.” – C.S. Lewis
There is a reason that this core value is first and we take it very seriously. Without integrity, we cannot effectively meet our clients’ needs. Without integrity, we cannot develop relationships with our clients or with our employees. We extend grace when mistakes are made by ensuring that the mistake is corrected and then giving people an opportunity to grow and improve in their jobs. However, we never tolerate violations of integrity. We have to know that we can trust all employees without question.
2. Excellence
“Excellence is to do a common thing in an uncommon way.” – Booker T. Washington
By definition, excellence is “the quality of being outstanding or extremely good.” So, what does this look like in practice? Much of it is very basic and should be a given for any company. We show up on time. We do what we say we will do. We work hard and complete our job fully and to the best of our ability every time. We don’t cut corners or skip work. After meeting these basic requirements, we are then able to go above and beyond to exceed our clients’ expectations.
3. Professionalism
“The only source of knowledge is experience.” – Albert Einstein
Professionalism means we are experienced in our business. Our experience has given us a depth of knowledge that is highly valued by our clients. In addition, this knowledge has allowed us to develop an effective operation that provides dependable, consistent, and high-quality service every time.
4. Employee Development
“We now accept the fact that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast of change. And the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn.” – Peter Drucker
We believe that everyone should continue to learn and develop new skills. This is why we provide all our employees with ongoing opportunities to further expand their knowledge and abilities. It starts with the comprehensive training that we provide to all new employees before they begin their jobs. After new employees begin working, we continue this process through on-the-job training and monitoring. This ensures that new employees put their new knowledge into practice. In addition, we ensure that all employees obtain periodic skills updates and refresher courses. These continual learning opportunities are found in on-site training, classes, webinars, and workshops.
5. Community Impact
“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” – Nelson Mandela
People are our biggest asset. We take the time to get to know our employees so that we can build a strong relationship with them, helping them grow and live life to the fullest. In the same way, our clients are not faceless businesses. By getting to know our clients and their business, we can develop successful long-term partnerships. This allows us to understand our clients’ needs, even if these needs change, and then to meet and exceed these needs in the work we do for them. We accomplish this by maintaining open and continual communication. We are deliberate about listening to what people are saying in their words and in their actions. We respond in a thoughtful and encouraging manner. We do not gossip. We are open to criticism as this is simply an opportunity to improve. We work together to brighten the day of anyone we come in contact with. We leave behind us a place that is better than it was before we were there.
6. Balance
“A man should never neglect his family for business.” – Walt Disney
Balance in everything is important. If you only have ice cream to eat, you will eventually tire of it. By the same token, if all you ever do is work, you will burn yourself out. Hard work is important, but equally important is life outside of work. We understand the need to balance work and personal life. We expect all employees to commit fully to their work during their shifts. We expect all work to be done with complete attention while on the job. However, we place an equal value on personal time. One way that we do this is by not assigning regular work shifts for Sundays. This adds a certain level of stability and consistency to our company’s work-life balance by setting aside a day every week that everyone can always expect to have off. We also recognize that life happens. If an employee needs time off for personal reasons…be it a death in the family, a planned vacation, or something else…we will respect these needs and do all in our power to grant this time off.
